Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Sunday, September 17, 2017 <<< Curtis Max Otto Kuebler passed away Sept. 8, 2017 in Lake Havasu City. He was born in Unterensingen, Germany on May 16, 1925 to Emil and Frieda Kuebler. Curtis graduated from Bloomfield High School in Bloomfield, New Jersey, after which he enlisted in the Unites States Navy. He had a 24-year career with the Navy, retiring as a Master Chief Petty Officer. He then took on a second 20-year career with Unisys Corporation in Minneappolis, Minnesota. In 1994, he and his wife, Emma Sue, retired to Lake Havasu City, where he was active in golfing and as a Calvary Baptist Church chaplain. Curtis was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Fleet Reserve Association. Curtis is survived by his wife, Lois Garrett Kuebler, children Ann Marie Tosh, Tamara Hess, Steve Morley, Dana Garrett, Charles Garrett and Patrick Garrett. Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Frieda Kuebler; deceased wives Emma Sue Kuebler and Virginia Morley Kuebler. A service is at Calvary Baptist Church, 1605 S. McCulloch Blvd. on Friday, Sept. 22 at 2 p.m. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. Thoughts and condolences can be made to the family at www.lietz- frazefuneralhome.com.
