Frances Banda Luera, 58, of San Bernardino, California, entered her rest on Dec. 14, 2001, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born Oct. 4, 1943, in Superior, where she was raised and attended school. She enjoyed playing bingo and doing ceramics. She was very active in the Catholic Church and she worked for Warm Springs Elementary School. Our beautiful, kind and caring Frances made an indelible mark on the lives of everyone she met. She enjoyed life to the fullest, treasuring each and every day. Her five grandchildren brought joy to her heart and a smile to her face. She leaves behind many precious memories that will fill our hearts every day. She is survived by her husband, Gilbert Luera; daughters, Diann Wilwant of Moreno Valley, California, and Norma Parks Fontana and Lee Ann Estrada, both of San Bernardino; sisters, Maria Rosas of Mesa, Julia Jaime of Mexico, Teodomira Campos and Maria C. Ybarra, both of Superior, and Carmen C. Oberg of Tucson; brothers, Ramon C. Banda of Superior, Tony C. Banda and Julio C. Banda, both of Mesa; and five grandchildren. Published 01/10/2002. |
