| Arthur Anthony Magana, 40, passed away in Phoenix on Jan. 13, 2002. Born in Superior on Sept. 23, 1961, Mr. Magana resided in Superior for 21 years before moving to the Valley. Survivors include his parents, Ralph Robert and Gloria Magana of Chandler; a son, Arthur Anthony Magana Jr., of Mesa; a daughter, Jessica Magana, also of Mesa; brothers, Roy Magana, Ralph Magana III and Ruben (Jacqueline) Magana, all of Chandler; sisters, Elizabeth Magana of Chicago and Ann Margaret Magana of Gilbert; and grandparents, Margaret Magana of Mesa and Joe and Isabel Casillas of Chandler. Services for Mr. Magana were conducted at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church this morning (Wednesday) with the Wake and Rosary at 9 a.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Fr. Augustine Kattady at 10 a.m. Interment followed at Fairview Cemetery. Superior Funeral Home handled the arrangements. 01/25/2002 The Superior Sun. |
