With her children by her side, Peggy Lois Selph Wagner passed away
peacefully Sept. 14, 2017, in Richfield, Utah. Peggy was born on
April 25, 1947, to Loys and Virgie Smith Selph in Phoenix. She
graduated from Prescott High School, where she later worked as a
The highlight of her life was raising her children, Heather and
David. After they left home, Peggy moved to Phoenix, where she
landed her dream job as an LDS bookstore manager. Her church was the
foundation of her life and her love for Christ has been emulated by
her children and seven grandchildren.
She is greatly loved. Peggy is survived by her two children, Heather
Houston (Michael) of Phoenix and David Wagner (Janette) of Monroe,
Utah; grandchildren Nicole, Rebekah, Davy, Darci, Tara, Elisabeth
She was preceded in death by her parents Loys and Virgie Selph;
sister Versie Kirby; and brother Bobby Selph.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, in
the Chino Valley LDS Chapel (441 W. Perkinsville Road). A viewing
will be held from 10 to 10:45 a.m. in the Relief Society room before
the funeral. Interment in the Chino Valley Cemetery.
