Herbert Aguayo of Sun City, Arizona passed away peacefully after a long full life on April 12, 2017. One of thirteen children born to Harry and Edith Aguayo. He was born on January 6, 1920 in Carrizozo, New Mexico. He grew up on the family Homestead and Cattle Ranch. He enlisted in the Army Air Corp December 16, 1941 and attended airplane mechanics school. Herbert served two and half years overseas as crew chief and many other duties. After serving four years he was honorably discharged. He then spent three years in the painters apprenticeship program and in 1965 became a well known painting contractor in the Phoenix area. Herbert with his colorful stories and anecdotes will be deeply missed by his wife of sixty-two years, Earline, son Michael (Joy) Wickenburg, Arizona, son Alan (Mary) Tahlequah, Oklahoma, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. At Herbert's request no services will be held. A family memorial will be held at a later date. Interment will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
