Weekly Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, June 15, 1921, page 2, column 7 Howard Draper Body Is Coming Funeral Services for Yavapai Boy Killed in France to Be Arranged by Veterans' Organization; Parents to Be Here Having left Hoboken on Sunday, the body of Howard Draper, Yavapai soldier who lost his life in France, will be here tomorrow, according to information reaching Lester Ruffner yesterday. The American Legion will ask other veteran organizations to coperate to conduct the rites of burial in behalf of the parents of the soldier, Mr. and Mrs. Draper of Wickenburg, who are expected to reach Prescott today. Announcement will be made later of the time and place of the funeral according to W. M. Roberts, commander of Ernest Love post, American Legion. Transcriber's note: Mr. Draper died in France, Sept. 5, 1918 and was brought home and buried at the Mt. View Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona on June 9, 1921.
