Hector P. Apodaca

Hector P. Apodaca, loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away Jan. 27, 2002.

Mr. Apodaca was born May 19, 1925. He was a World War II veteran who proudly served his country in both the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army. He worked at Magma Copper Company for 36 years and was a member of the VFW and American Legion. His loss will be felt by all who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernestina and Saturnino, his stepfather, Ramon G. Reyna, and his daughter, Rosalinda.

Mr. Apodaca is survived by sons, Henry, Hector II, David and Jesus; daughters, Clara and Mary Ann; grandchildren, Candida, Omar, Odette, Hector III, Dominic, Reggie, Desiree, Matthew and Rachel; great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Arianna, Dominic, Adrian, Chelsea and Hector IV; siblings, Arturo, Amparo, Armando, Ralph and Oscar; and many nieces and nephews.

A rosary and memorial service was Wednesday, Jan. 30, at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. The funeral was Thursday, January 31, 2002, also at St. Francis.
