Margaret Louise Greiner

Margaret Louise Greiner, 64, passed away May 1, 2009, in Safford after her long battle with cancer.

Margaret was born March 13, 1945, in Safford to George and Ada Louise Greiner. Margaret was born in the building that later became her father’s office, the Gila Valley Water Commissioner. Margaret was a gifted twirler and was the majorette during her years at Safford High School. She was a talented artist, especially in oil painting. She expressed herself the most through her art. Margaret also loved the outdoors.

Margaret is survived by her sister, Georgeanne Adamy of Merced, Calif.; her children, Bobby (Connie) Lucero of Thatcher, Teresa (Brenden) Neff of Safford, Jane (Johnny) Villalba of Safford and Joni (Albert) Gonzales of Thatcher; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ada Louise Greiner.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Tuesday, May 5, at St. Rose of Lima, with a rosary at 9 a.m. Arrangements were under the direction of McDougal’s Caldwell Funeral Chapel.
