Death of a Pioneer -

Prescott, Ariz. - Dec. 16 - H. A. Bigelow, an old Californian and
one of the earliest of Arizona pioneers, died here today of dropsy
at age 59.

Col. Henry A. Bigelow died at Prescott on the morning of the 16th
inst.

Col. Bigelow came to Arizona in 1864 and was a member of the first
territorial council and served the territory in various capacities.

He was 59 years old and a native of Massachusetts.
