Popular Miner Succumbs To Illness

Sam Bishop, one of the best known miners and mechanical engineers in
the county, after a lingering illness due to Bright's disease passed
away yesterday in this city.

He had been a resident of Arizona for many years, and of this county
for about ten years.

He was a native of Indiana, and was 61 years old. His only know
relative is a brother residing at Rockford in that state.

The loss of this generous and industrious man will be learned with
much sorrow by a host of friend and acquaintances.

Transcriber's note: Mr. Bishop is buried in an unmarked grave at the
Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona.
