Arizona Journal-Miner, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, September 19, 1911, page 8, column 5 Popular Miner Succumbs To Illness Sam Bishop, one of the best known miners and mechanical engineers in the county, after a lingering illness due to Bright's disease passed away yesterday in this city. He had been a resident of Arizona for many years, and of this county for about ten years. He was a native of Indiana, and was 61 years old. His only know relative is a brother residing at Rockford in that state. The loss of this generous and industrious man will be learned with much sorrow by a host of friend and acquaintances.
