Prescott Journal-Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Friday, January 25, 1907, page 4, column 4 Grover Bristow Is Laid To Rest Funeral services over the remains of Grover Bristowe (sic), took place yesterday afternoon, a 3 o’clock under the auspices of the Baptist church, Rev. E. B. Taft officiating. Interment was in the Citizen’s Cemetery. Deceased was aged about 18 years, and a native of the county, having been born in the Verde Valley. He was taken sick with pneumonia about a week ago, and despite the best of care and medical attention, he succumbed to the attack Wednesday afternoon at 1:15 o'clock, at the residence of his parents on Marina street. Surviving him he leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Conway Bristowe (sic), two brothers, Samuel and Clyde, residents of this city, and a sister, Mrs. Martha McRoberts, residing in Phoenix. He was a young man of much promise and the sympathy of the community is extended to his relatives in their irreparable loss of a loving son and brother, just budding into manhood. |
