Grover Bristow Is Laid To Rest

Funeral services over the remains of Grover Bristowe (sic), took
place yesterday afternoon, a 3 o’clock under the auspices of the
Baptist church, Rev. E. B. Taft officiating.

Interment was in the Citizen’s Cemetery.

Deceased was aged about 18 years, and a native of the county, having
been born in the Verde Valley. He was taken sick with pneumonia
about a week ago, and despite the best of care and medical
attention, he succumbed to the attack Wednesday afternoon at 1:15
o'clock, at the residence of his parents on Marina street.

Surviving him he leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Conway Bristowe
(sic), two brothers, Samuel and Clyde, residents of this city, and a
sister, Mrs. Martha McRoberts, residing in Phoenix.

He was a young man of much promise and the sympathy of the community
is extended to his relatives in their irreparable loss of a loving
son and brother, just budding into manhood.
