Carmen R. Chavez

Carmen R. Chavez, 71, passed away in Casa Grande Sunday, May 12, 2002. She was born in Hayden Nov. 25, 1930 and spent the last 30 years at the Arizona Training Center in Randolph.

Survivors include six brothers and three sisters, Frank (Esther) of Miami, Carlos of Los Angeles, California, Guillermo (Cruz) of Winkelman, Salvador (Connie) of Hayden, Joe (Carmen) of Phoenix, and Rex (Angie) of Tucson, Celia (John) of Miami, Melision of Hayden, and Angie (German) of North Hollywood, California.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Octaviano and Soledad, and by a brother, Tony.

Services were held Wednesday, May 15, at Infant Jesus of Prague Catholic Church in Kearny with the Rosary recited first and followed by the Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial.

Interment was at Mountain View Cemetery.

Arrangements were made by Griffith Mortuary.
