Jesus T. Gallego

Jesus T. Gallego, 82, of Hayden, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2002, in Tucson.

He was born May 6, 1920, in Las Mesa, Sonora, Mexico and came to the area in 1957.

An employee of Kennecott Copper Company, he worked as a track man for 27 and a forth years, retiring in 1982.

A "people person," he loved to visit with family and friends, when visiting family he would remember each person with a gift. His hobby was gardening.

He is survived by his daughter, Lorna (Gabriel) Avenetti; two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Rosary Thursday, June 6 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Hayden. Father Dale Branson celebrated the Mass of Christian Burial Friday, June 7.
