Rita Julia Greig, aka Davis, Pennington, passed away on March 20, 2007, in Prescott, Arizona. Mrs. Greig was born in La Habra, Calif., July 13, 1922.

She lived in Coronado and Chula Vista, California for 80 years. She resided in Prescott for four years.

Rita retired in 1983. She was a property utilization officer for the U.S. Navy Department.

She served as President of the Star of India Auxiliary at the San Diego Maritime Museum and as President of the Ladies of the Ribbon, an auxiliary organization of the Military Order of World Wars in San Diego.

Rita was pre-deceased by her husband, Joseph Eugene Greig, of Prescott.

She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Ann Riley of Prescott; a son, Lawrence Henry Davis of Glen Ellen, California; four stepchildren; five grandchildren; and nine great- grandchildren.

Final arrangements are being made by Hampton Funeral Home in Prescott, Arizona, 240 South Cortez Street, Prescott, Arizona, 86303.
