| Samuel Read White Born in Bicknell, Utah on Jan. 27, 1924. Departed on Sept. 9, 2002 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Samuel Read White, 78, of Cottonwood died September 9, He was born January 27, 1924 in Bicknell, Utah. Mr. White was a long time trucker. He battled Parkinson's Disease for 24 years. Mr. White was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He leaves his wife of 56 years, Lawanii White; two daughters, Elaine and Dale Allred, Cottonwood and Karma and Preston Edens, Clearfield, Ut.; a son, Eddy Read White, Phoenix; sisters, Madge Baker, Pleasant Grove, Ut., Genece Jensen, Buena Park, Calif.; Nelda Woolsey, Santa Fe Springs, Calif. and LaVoe Peterson, Mesquite, Nev.; eight grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. A visitation wil be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 14 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1377 E. Hombre Drive, Cottonwood. A funeral service will follow in the Church at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Cottonwood Cemetery. The family requests that donations in his memory may be made to the Eden Center, 401 S.
