Mary Rose Murrietta, 67, died June 15, 2002 in Casa Grande.
The wake will be held from 6 p.m. Friday until 8 a.m. Saturday at her home, 309 W. Phoenix Ave. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Helen's Catholic Church by the Rev. Martin Martinez. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
Ms. Murrietta was born Aug. 10, 1934 in Mexico to Anita Palma and Jesus J. Murrietta, the granddaughter of Jose and Isabel Palma and Manuel and Rafaela Murrietta. She was a homemaker and lived in the area for 66 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Amelia Cazares and Carol Valenzuela; three sons, John S., Fernando and Andrew Valenzuela; five sisters, Rosario Cruz, Clara Antone, Delphine Murrietta, Juanita R. Murrietta and Frances Murrietta; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Lefonsa Martinez, Natalie Xavier and Susie Lopez, and three brothers, Andrew, Robert and George Murrietta.
J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
