John Acker McNary, 91, of Cottonwood died December 30. He was born December 28, 1912 in Berino, New Mexico.

Mr. McNary was a retired from the US Government. He served his country in the Army during World War II.

He was a member of the Verde Valley Presbyterian Church and the Jerome Lodge of Elks.

His wife, Elizabeth McNary survives him; he also leaves two daughters, Carolyn Havens of Silver City, N. M. and Patricia G. McNary of Payson, Ariz.; a son John H. McNary of Mesa, Ariz.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

There are no public services planned.

Donations in his memory may be made to the donor's choice.
