Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Thursday, January 18, 2018 <<< Richard (Rich) Muselman, 91, of Lake Havasu City, passed away Jan. 15, 2018. He was born on May 31, 1926 in Jacksonville, Florida. Rich moved his family to Havasu in 1975 with a vision of a great place to raise his family, be active in the growth of a new community, and enjoy the lake and its natural beauty that surrounds it. He built the Tree Factory Nursery and landscaping business. He worked enthusiastically supporting the City Council and its leaders. He became a council member, was vice mayor, led the industrial commission, and became president of the Chamber of Commerce. His vision was to encourage growing companies to relocate to Havasu to provide jobs for its residents, be environmentally friendly to our lake and skies and support the community. As a true entrepreneur, upon retirement, he became a Realtor and managed multiple HOAs. Rich loved the lake and spent his free time with his growing family on it whenever time allowed. He never missed a chance to watch the Diamondbacks on TV. He was a true patriot with service during World War II in the U.S. Army. Rich is survived by his wife Judy Muselman, sons Richard H. (Alex) Stark, Roy O. (Melinda) Stark, and Richard E. Muselman, and daughters Penny (Wayne) Malone, Pamela (Chris) Orlowski, and Janet Dominik. A memorial service is 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 2170 Havasupai Blvd. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Hospice of Havasu would be appreciated.
