Lonnie Garfield Garner

Born in Glendale, Arizona on April 17, 1940.
Departed on Oct. 8, 2003 and resided in Camp Verde, Arizona.

Lonnie was born April 17, 1940 in Glendale, Ariz. He was preceded in death by his parents Pete and Ella Mae Garner, brothers Delton (Shorty)Garner and Ray Baker.

Lonnie is survived by his wife Virginia and three children, Vicki Cramer of Camp Verde, Ariz., Ed Garner of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Charles Garner of Peoria, Ariz..

Lonnie and his family moved to Camp Verde in 1971 and began a CPA practice until 1981. He became a member of the Verde Valley Rangers Mounted Posse and held offices since 1973.

He loved being outdoors and found that his true love was developing properties. He became a land developer and developed property in Dewey, Rimrock, Camp Verde and Buckeye, Ariz. Lonnie truly had a vision for land enrichment and development. He loved spending time with his family and horses. So many including his wife and family will miss his everyday kindness and consideration from our father.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Clear Creek Cemetery, Box 3031 Camp Verde, Ariz., 86322. Services will be held on Saturday, October 11, at 2:00 p.m. at 1st Baptist Church 646 S. 1st St., Camp Verde, Arizona.
