George was born at “Queen of Angels” Hospital in Los Angeles. He was a
member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Lake Havasu City. He spent
most of his life putting up buildings as a Journeyman Ironworker out
of Local 433, Los Angeles.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn Lenore (McCrumb) and
George Lawrence Molitor II of Hot Springs, S.D.; brother, Roger Wayne
of Orange County, Calif.; brother, Gerald Leroy of Wilmington, N.C.

He is survived by his brother, Ronald Dean, Lake Havasu City.

George’s great passion was aviation; at 14 years of age he worked at
Fullerton Airport pumping gas to airplanes and started flying lessons.
After returning from Vietnam with the U.S. Army, George got his
private pilot license and went to Martin Aviation, Orange County
Airport (now John Wayne Airport) and attained his commercial,
instrument and multi-engine ratings. He and a partner purchased a twin
Beechcraft airplane and worked it as a skydiving airplane and
occasionally chartered freight from Long Beach to Catalina Island. He
worked at Catalina Airlines as a mechanic, went back to school and got
his flight instructor rating in 1975. He purchased a Cessna 150 to be
used as a trainer for several students.

In 1979, George moved to Lake Havasu City (with the 150) working as a
flight instructor. He was with Havasu Aviation on the old “Island
Airport” and then the new airport as chief instructor for Gimbel
Aviation.

George was instrumental in chartering the “London Bridge Chapter 681,
Experimental Aircraft Association” in Lake Havasu and joined the
“London Bridge Composite Squadron 501 Civil Air Patrol” in early 1984.
He was a volunteer driver for the Disabled American Veterans and a
chairman of the Lake Havasu City Airport Advisory Board.

Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and
Crematory.
