Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Friday, July 3, 2015 <<< Charles Wayne La Monda was born April 7, 1930 in McDermott, Ohio. Growing up in Ohio, he became an avid hunter and an excellent marksman. He went into the Navy and served in the Korean War after he was discharged in 1953, he moved to the West Coast where he met his wife Carole and had two sons. Wayne was a machinist in the San Fernando Valley of California and raised livestock in Agua Dulce, Calif. He moved to Lake Havasu City around 2002 and made many friends with whom he enjoyed playing cards, dancing and fishing. Wayne is survived by his sister, Rosie and her husband, Richard Bosch in Calif.; his son, Charles and his wife Debbie La Monda in Oregon, and five grandchildren. There will not be a service; donations may be made to Beacon of Hope Hospice. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
