Martha Jane (Noland) Simpson

Martha Jane Simpson passed away June 27, 2015 at 90 years of age in
Lake Havasu City. She was born to Ray Walter and Alice Margaret
Noland, Jan. 19, 1925 in Des Moines, Iowa. She married to Charles
Madison Simpson, Aug. 17, 1949 in Bavaria, Germany; they were married
for 40 years.

Our dear sister Martha believed that beef is what’s for dinner. She
loved to eat corn dogs and butter, but not at the same time. She was a
member of Grace Episcopal Church and worked in the Altar Guild,
Women’s Bible Study, and facilitator of Wellspring Intercessory. She
was a Los Angeles Dodger fan and confirmed sister in the Community of
The Paraclete.

Martha is survived by her sons, Charles M. Simpson, Jr. (Maria) of
Long Beach, Walter L. Simpson of Mesa, Terrance S. Simpson (Rebecca)
of San Dimas; daughter, Jeannine L. Khan of Chandler; sister, Betty L.
Robertson of Arlington, Wash.; grandchildren, Jon C. Adams, Marissa M.
Simpson, Christopher C.G. Simpson, Tiffany Kempton, Brittany L.
Simpson, Kacie M. Claudel, Madison Simpson, Hunter Simpson, Savannah
Simpson; great-grandchildren, Evan B. Adams and Marcus K. Adams.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Simpson.

Services with a reception to follow will be July 2 at 9 a.m., at Grace
Episcopal Church.

Donations can be made to Grace Episcopal Church.

Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and
Crematory.
