Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Monday, June 29, 2015 <<< Bobby Jack Sherwood, 85, passed away peacefully, June 20, 2015 in Lake Havasu City at his home surrounded by all of his family. He was born, Oct. 14, 1929 in Monticello, Ark. to Chester and Freddie Mae Sherwood. Bob lived most of his life in California, but has been a Lake Havasu resident since 2005. Bob enjoyed fishing, golfing and dancing. He really loved when all of his grandkids would come visit him. Bob was a member of the Elks Lodge. He was a great husband, Dad, Papa and a friend to many. He has influenced a lot of us in being who we are today. He will be truly missed. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Jane Sherwood of Lake Havasu City; daughters, Kathy Guzman and Sheila Wiles; seven beautiful grandchildren; six loving great-grandchildren as well as many extended families that adored him very much. Memorial service will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday at Hilltop Community Church. Arrangements are under the care of Lake Havasu Mortuary & Crematory, veteran & family owned. |
