Olive Lautenschlager, age 87, of Scottsdale and formerly of Prescott, Ariz., passed away March 20, 2007, in Tempe, Ariz.

Olive was born in Park Ridge, Ill., on Oct. 22, 1919.

She was the world's best homemaker and mother. She was a longtime member of the American Lutheran Church in Prescott.

She is preceded in death by her husband Elmer and grandson Adam.

Olive is survived by her daughters, Joy (James) Lew-is, Norma (Dan) Mazur, and Betty (Michael) Rivera; son Greg (Andrea) Lautenschlager; sister Eileen Empens; brother Donald Clavey; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will take place 11 a.m. Saturday, March 24, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1101 Sandretto Drive, Prescott, Ariz.

Donations may be made to the Shriner's Children’s Hospital.

Arrangements by Melcher Mortuary Mission Chapel, 6625 E. Main St., Mesa, Ariz.
