Grifford Russell Kelly, 84, of Cottonwood died June 20. He was born May 28, 1920 in Petoskey, Michigan.

He was an Army veteran of World war II where he recieved a bronze star.
Mr. Kelly retired from the Maricopa School District. He was a skilled stone and brick mason for many years.

An avid collector of antique clocks and radios, Mr. Kelly was also a Past Commander and Life Member of the VFW, and was also a member of the Moose Lodge and the American Legion.

He leaves his wife of 63 years, Evelyn Kelly; a son, Michael Kelly, Memphis, Tenn.; daughter Marsha Kelly, Las Vegas, Nev.; a sister Dolly Chance, Grand Rapids, Mich.; five grandchildren, four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

There are no public services planned.
