Born in Fort Collins, Colorado on May 25, 1918.
Departed on Sept. 26, 2005 and resided in Mesa, Arizona.

Lois May Kelly, 87, of Mesa, formerly of Cottonwood died September 26. She was born May 25, 1918 in Fort Collins, Colorado.

She was a graduate of Northwest Nazarene College in Pasadena whre she received a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Mrs. Kelly retired in 1978 after teaching in the Redondo Beach (California) schools for nineteen years.

She was a member of the Nazarene Church. Her hobbies included collecting and sewing dolls, reading and she volunteered teaching ten years in the third grade classes at Cottonwood Elementary schools.

Her husband, M. Thomas Kelly preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sons, Mike Kelly of Cordova, Tenn. and Pat Kelly of Mesa; daughters, Cynthia Kelly of Raleigh, N.C. and Colleen Edwards of Cottonwood; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 28 in the Valley View Cemetery at 1 p.m.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Cottonwood Elementary School.
