Leland Oswald Arthur, Jr., 70, of Cottonwood died March 20, 2003. He was born September 2, 1932 in Phoenix, Arizona.

Mr. Leland retired from Construction excavation. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the VFW, the American Legion and the Moose Lodge.

He leaves his wife, Sara L. Arthur; four daughters, Rebecca L. Arthur, Camp Verde, Connie M. Audilett, Chandler, Shelda E. Audilett, San Diego, Calif, and Judith D. Arthur, Cottonwood; three sons, James P. Arthur, Cottonwood, Jeffrey D. Audilett, Chandler and Kirk A. Audilett, San Diego, Calif.; three brothers, Edward Arthur, Chandler, Paul Arthur and Wesley Arthur, both of Reno, Nev.; eleven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

There are nopublic services planned. Memorial donations may be made to the Northern Arizona Hospice, 269 S. Candy Lane, Cottonwood, Ariz.
