Vivian Edna (Schmidt) Skyberg Born in Herrick, South Dakota on Feb. 10, 1927. Departed on Nov. 14, 2002 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Vivian Edna Skyberg, 75, of Cottonwood passed away on November 14, 2002. She moved to Arizona from Colorado to be near her daughter and family. She was born in South Dakota and raised seven children on her own. She is survived by her seven children, Diane Mayer of Tx., Vikki Crawford of Mo., Sue Neil of Colo., Sally Winters of Cottonwood, Jerry Skyberg, Ron Skyberg, Gene Skyberg all of Calif.; fifteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; three brothers, Fred Schmidt, Duane Schmidt and Bob Schmidt, all of S.D. There will be a visitation on Monday, Nov. 18 in the Westcott Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 19 in the Mountain View United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Heritage Memorial Park in Dewey.
