| Lawrence Emmett Dawson Born in Memphis, Tennessee on Sept. 2, 1925. Departed on June 3, 2003 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Lawrence Emmett Dawson, 77, of Cottonwood died June 3, 2003. He was born September 2, 1925 in Memphis, Tennessee. He was a World War II veteran of the Army. He was retired research anthropologist for the University of Califonia at Berkley. He enjoyed rock collecting and was an expert on basketry. He leaves a niece, Diane Dawson Immethun of Flagstaff and and a nephew David Dawson of Moab, Ut. There are no public services planned.
