| Marie (Rede) (Lysons) Cummings Born in Amarillo, Texas on Sept. 14, 1924. Departed on Dec. 11, 2006 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Marie “Rede” Cummings, 82, resident of Cottonwood, Arizona passed away on Monday, December 11, 2006 in Flagstaff, Arizona. She was born September 14, 1924 in Amarillo, Texas to Arthur and Cecelia “Pal” (Durnez) Lysons. Rede attended Bridgeport and Clarkdale Schools and was a 1942 graduate of Clarkdale High School. As an adult she worked for the Cottonwood Elementary School. Rede is preceded in death by her husband, Mick Cummings. She leaves behind two sons, Barry Cummings, wife Carol of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mickey Cummings, wife Mai of Athens, Oh.; her daughter, Leslie Elam of Woodbridge, Va.; and seven grandchildren.
