Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted on Sunday, March 8, 2015 - Lewis Bryan Wright, 85, passed away March 2, 2015 at his home in Lake Havasu City. He was born, Nov. 24, 1929 in Dublin, Texas to Cecil Alton and Nancy Belle (DeWesse) Eoff. Lewis served in the U.S. Navy for 10 years as a gunner’s mate, first class during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged. He married his wife, Inez in Honolulu, Hawaii, Sept. 18, 1954. Lewis retired from Santa Fe Railroad after 30 years of service. After retiring from the Sante Fe Railroad, Lewis and Inez moved to Lake Havasu City 26 years ago, to enjoy the warm sun and to be closer to family. Lewis will be deeply missed. Lewis is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Inez Wright of Lake Havasu City; two sons, one daughter and four grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 9 a.m. Monday at Lake Havasu Mortuary Chapel with Chaplain Sandy Johnson officiating. Military honors will be presented by the Marine Corps League, Lake Havasu City Detachment. Condolences and memories can be sent to the family directly or through www.lakehavasumortuary.com.
