| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 - Veronica Catherine Kramer passed away peacefully Jan. 25, 2018. She was born July 10, 1920 in Gilbertville, Iowa, the daughter of Eva Gales. She married her first husband, Herbert Schmitz, in Iowa where they raised three children. Later in life, Veronica married Vernon Kramer, had another son and moved to California. She eventually moved to Lake Havasu City to be among her family. She loved the adventure of travel, living at the beach and meeting new friends. Veronica was part of an ever-loving and close family that she enjoyed every chance she got. She will be missed by her large family and the many who knew and loved her. Veronica was preceded in death by her mother, Eva Gales, her first husband Herbert Schmitz, second husband Vernon Kramer, granddaughter Stacey Kramer and daughter-in-law Cindy Kramer. She is survived by her four children: daughter Patricia O’Dell (Leon), Ray Kramer, Donald Kramer, Steven Kramer (Beverly), and sister Norma Delargardelle, 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 14 great- great-grandchildren. A celebration of life is at a future date in Huntington Beach, California at Good Shepherd Cemetery, followed by a lunch at her son’s home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of Havasu. |
