Richard L. Crisman passed away Feb. 28, 2018.
He was born in Mathasville, Missouri on March 9, 1932, the son of Roy
and Della Crisman. The family moved to Port Hope, Michigan in 1935.
Richard graduated from the Henry Ford Trade School in 1950. He served
in the United States Marine Corps in Korea from 1951 and 1952 where he
attained the rank of sergeant and was awarded two Presidential Unit
Richard settled in Detroit and retired from the Chrysler Corporation
in 1991. He returned to Port Hope where he managed the construction of
the Huron Township Water System and served as Township Trustee and
later as the Township Clerk.
Richard married Susan Ilene Isham in 2005. He lived in Lake Havasu
City where he served as minister of Oro Grande Church of Christ. He
was an avid fan of Maltese dogs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Betty and brother
Richardâ€™s memorial service is March 9 at 10 a.m. at the Oro Grande
Church of Christ, 3439 Oro Grande Blvd. Burial will be in Port Hope at
a later date.
