Dan Nolan of Circle City, passed away at his home on Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017.

Dan was born in Prineville, Ore., Dec. 2, 1926, to Matt and Audra Nolan. He married Lou Solberg in 1962 and lived in Redmond, Ore., where they were business owners for over 25 years. Lou preceded him in death in 2010.

After retirement, Dan and Lou traveled for a few years, settling in Arizona where they lived for over 20 years. They enjoyed living in Arizona where they made many good friends.

Dan joined the Navy and served during World War II on the U.S. Windham Bay, CVE 92. Dan was a founding member of the Redmond VFW, a 48-year member of the American Legion and a 50-year member of the Elks. He belonged to the Redmond Moose and was a member of the Lions Club in Redmond.

Dan is survived by daughters Peggy Jorgenson, Donna Allen (Jim), Debbie Luster (Kevin); son Steve (Nicki);grandchildren; Dan, Casey, Jenny, Amber, Emma, Chloe, Jennifer, Michelle; and six great-grandchildren, a brother, Franklin Nolan of Redmond; many adored nieces and nephews; and his awesome dog, Coco.

A celebration of life will be held at the Kellis-Draper American Legion on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, in Wickenburg, at 2 p.m.
