Prescott Evening Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, January 20, 1955, page 2, column 8 Death Claims Frank Upton Frank W. Upton, who came to Arizona at the turn of the century from Ontario, Canada, died late yesterday afternoon at a local hospital. Born in Ontario Feb. 3, 1882, Mr. Upton spent the greater part of his life near Mayer, mining, ranching and trucking and was well known in this area. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Laura Upton of Mayer and a sister in Ontario. Funeral arrangements are pending at the Ruffner Funeral Home. -------------------------------------- Prescott Evening Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, January 21, 1955, page 1, column 5 Frank Upton's Services Are Scheduled Saturday Funeral services for Frank W. Upton, of Mayer, who died Wednesday at a local hospital, will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Ruffner Funeral Home, Rev. Charles Franklin Parker officiating. Interment will follow in the Mountain View Cemetery. Mr. Upton had lived in the Mayer district since the turn of the century, coming to Arizona from Ontario, Canada.
