Gregory George Harkness

Gregory (Greg) George Harkness, 58, of Lake Havasu City, passed away
March 5, 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada after a brief illness.

Greg was born Oct. 11, 1959. He grew up in Lawrenceville, New Jersey
and graduated from Lawrence High School in 1977.

In June 1977, Greg and his family moved to Havasu.

He used his carpentry skills to do custom remodels, additions, and
home improvements on many homes in Havasu, Flagstaff and Las Vegas.
Greg especially enjoyed working on custom tile designs on fireplaces
and shower surrounds.

He enjoyed boating, fishing, and the great outdoors. Greg was a fun-
loving man with an infectious laugh. He was a devoted son, brother,
uncle, nephew, cousin and a great friend to many. His closest friends
were treasured like family.

Throughout Greg’s life, he enjoyed the companionship of his German
Shepherd, King, and his miniature Schnauzer, Clancy, and most recently
his golden lab, Sadie.

Greg is survived by his sister Georgette (William) Kucich of Havasu,
brother, Jeffery (Dolores) Harkness of Lawrenceville, niece Jennifer
(Joseph) Volpe of Cottonwood, nephews Brian (Becky) Harkness of
Doylestown, Pennsylvania and Jeffrey Harkness of Hamilton, New Jersey,
great-niece Emma Harkness and great-nephew Ethan Harkness, both of
Doylestown as well as his aunt, Alice Harkness of Princeton; and many
cousins.

Greg was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Theresa (Smith)
Harkness in 2017; his father, George Edward Charles Harkness in 2001;
and his infant sister, Gail Theresa Harkness in 1952.

A celebration of life gathering will take place in the near future.
