David E. Potthoff

David E. Potthoff, 75, passed away in Lake Havasu City on March 14,
2018.

He was the son of Harry and Marcille (Ellerbrock) Potthoff, born in
Cincinnati, Ohio Sept. 21, 1942.

David worked for Medalist Industries and Wells Manufacturing in Fond
du Lac. He retired from Interlake Corp. as a regional sales manager.

David loved the water. He enjoyed boating, fishing and scuba diving.
He lived in Florida off and on throughout his life where he spent much
time on the water. He settled in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin where he
raised his family. Later, he traveled. David had a passion for travel
and has lived in many places throughout the years. He was a past
member of the Fond du Lac Sailing Club and Fond du Lac Yacht Club.
David also enjoyed playing Bridge at the Senior Center in Lake Havasu
City, Arizona.

David is preceded in death by his parents, Harry T. and Marcille
Potthoff.

He is survived by his two daughters, Deborah (Jim) Spannbauer and
Rebecca (Chris) Gravelle, brother Harry (Sheila) Potthoff, sister
Charleen Vondermeulen, and three grandchildren: Thomas Gravelle,
Katherine Spannbauer and Melissa Spannbauer.

The family gives special thanks to Dr. Michael Lyster and the staff at
the Cancer Center of Western Arizona for the outstanding care they
provided David for the last 10 years.
