Armando M. Vasquez, Jr., 47, of Cottonwood died May 2. He was born June 11, 1961 in Buckeye, Arizona, the son of Amando V. Vasquez, Sr. and Norma M. Vasquez.

He was a graduate of Gila Bend High School and attended UTI where he earned a degree as a technician in refrigeration.

He was working at Paloma Ranch and later had to retire for health resons.

His hobbies were fishing, hunting, antique radios, and rebuilding baja bugs.

He will be remembered as a beloved husband, father and son and will be missed by all

He was preceded in death by a son, Armando A. Vasquez and his father, Armando V. Vasquez.

Surviving is his wife of 20 years, Elena A. Vasquez; daughters, Kathleen E. Vasquez and Amy E. Vasquez, both of Cottonwood; he also leaves Christian Alegra of Phoenix.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 8 in St. Michaels Catholic Church in Gila Bend, the rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at the church at 9 a.m.

Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery in Gila Bend, Ariz.
