Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, January 23, 1918, page 3, column 2 Beloved Young Lady is Called By the Reaper Barbara Lambert, the 16 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Lambert, of 117 North Pleasant street, passed away Tuesday morning at an early hour, the fatal affliction being pneumonia. For several days her life had been handing by a thread, and there was little hope for her recovery. She was in the sophomore class at the Prescott high school, where she was beloved by teachers and classmates. Hers was a sweet and lovable character, always of a cheerful disposition, and ever considerate of her associates. Barbara's friends are legion, and her kindly smile and words of greeting will be keenly missed. Funeral arrangements will be made later. Transcriber's note: Miss Lambert is buried in an unmarked grave at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona. |
