Corda Adams, formerly known as Corda Hansen, passed away peacefully in her home in Surprise on Dec. 21, 2017, with her loving family at her side.

Corda Anna Ruth Adams, 74, formerly of Wickenburg, AZ, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 21, 2017, at her home in Surprise, AZ, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born to Ruth and Raymond Lewis in St. Louis, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother John Lewis, husbands Leon Anton, Enoch Hansen, Floyd Balliet, James Adams, and by grandson Jacob Hansen. Surviving family include son Clesie (Louise) Hansen--Wickenburg; daughter Lisa (Jim) Egner--Surprise; son Michael (Lisa) Hansen--Glendale; daughter Kelly Arnold--Mesa; 11 step-children; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister Marietta Cowan--AR; brother Clesie (Sandra) Lewis--ID; and many nieces and nephews.

Corda was a loving wife and mother. During her time in Wickenburg, she was an agent for Century 21 Arizona West Realty, chef for the Meadows, and co-owner of the Big W Restaurant. She was a former owner of the Arco Hotel and Lariat Bar, and was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Moose, Elks, and Soroptimist.

A memorial service will be held at the Sun City Elks, 10760 W. Union Hills Drive, Sun City, 85373, at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 12, 2018. Graveside services will be presided over by Pastor John Roy on Friday, January 12, at 2:00 p.m. at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ 85024.

Flowers and cards may be sent to the Family of Corda Adams, 13579 W. Post Drive, Surprise, AZ 85374. Memorials may be given to donor's choice.
