The Prescott Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, July 16, 1972 Bennett Service Held Monday Neil Bennett, 72, died at the Yavapai Community Hospital after a short illness, Wednesday, July 12. Born at Banning Creek in Prescott, October 14 1899, Bennett lived in Prescott all of his life. He resided at 1471 Vyne St., in Forbing Park. Bennett was a retired C.P.A. and active in Smoki for many years. Bennett belonged to B.P.O.E. Lodge No. 330 in Prescott and was a life member of the Elks. A volunteer member of the fire department for many years, Bennett was also a member of the Sacred Heart Church in Prescott and a routeman for Prescott Cigarette and Music. Co. Bennett is survived by his wife, Margaret of Prescott, three daughters, Mrs. Betty Horn of Tempe, Mrs. Joanne Stephenson and Mrs Nancy Burt, both of Calif., three sisters, Mrs. Eileen Seaman of Prescott, Mrs. Dorothy Holahan of Los Angeles, Calif. Miss Amy Ruth Bennett of Alhambra, Calif. and six grandchildren. Transcriber's note: Mr. Bennett is buried at the Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona. |
