| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, May 18, 2009 A frequent visitor to Prescott in the last five years, Kathryn "Kathy" Jane Johnson DeKonty passed away Saturday, May 16, 2009, at her home in Hemet, Calif. She was 56 years of age. Born in Bridgeton, N.J., Kathy lived in Phoenix for a number of years and graduated as a medical technician. She worked in the medical profession until her health began to fail in 2005 and was a school nurse in Hemet for many years. Kathy is survived by a son, Joseph John DeKonty; two daughters, Megan and Rebecca DeKonty, all of Hemet; her parents, John and Frances Johnson; a brother, John F. Johnson, of Prescott; two sisters, Carolyn J. Arcos of San Antonio, Texas, and Margaret J. Robison of Hemet; and a brother, David W. Johnson of Paradise Valley, Ariz. Funeral services and internment will be in Hemet, Calif. |
