Janie Bryant Stineback

Born in Utica, New York on Dec. 31, 1939.
Departed on Oct. 9, 2005 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona.

Janie Bryant Stineback passed away to be with God Sunday 8:30 p.m.
on the eve of Oct. 9, 2005; she will be greatly missed by all.

Survived by her husband for which they were blessed for 35 years
which she knew at first sight he was the one, Don Stineback; her
beloved children from first marriage Kenneth Brant, Cathy Walters,
and Danny Brant with 4 grandchildren. Her step-children Alan and
Robin Stineback. Her siblings, brother Jim and sister Sassy Jean and
her loyal buddy and friend Muffin Jenet.

Janie was quite a woman, strong and determined to raise her children
with pure love, devotion, and persistence. She changed the way music
is played in the Phoenix area, Verde Valley and quite a few other
places. She brought a shinny spark to the whole music industry with
her comic relief, her dance numbers, her sing-a-longs, and don't
forget her homemade costumes.

Most of all her un-ending knowledge and her ability to write,
remember, and play music all with out any formal training in the
industry. Most memorable for her was she knew every song requested.
Her favorite audiences were for the veterans and the elderly through
the American Legion, VFW and retirement centers.

No service will be held, donations to the Verde Valley Human Society
c/o Cyndi Sessoms P.O. Box 1429 Cottonwood, Ariz., 86326, in memory
of our beloved Janie.
