Virgil James Billerbeck Born in Merrilan, Wisconsin on Nov. 25, 1921. Departed on Aug. 10, 2003 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Virgil James Billerbeck, 81, of Cottonwood died August 10. He was born November 25, 1921 in Merrilan, Wisconsin. He was a retired sheet metal worker. Mr. Billerbeck served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of Mountain View United Methodist Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He leaves his wife, Lois Billerbeck; three daughters, Gail Yunk, Lynne Reddrop and Nancy Langerock; a son, Joseph Billerbeck; two brothers, Rodney Billerbeck and Wallace Billerbeck; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 14 in the Mountain View United Methodist Church at 4:00 p.m. Donations in his memory may be made to Habitat for Humanity or to the the Mountain View United Methodist Church Discretionary Fund. Either donation can be sent to the church at 901 S. 12th St., Cottonwood, Ariz., 86326. Westcott Funeral Home assisted the family with these arrangements.
