Clyde W. Snyder, 87, a coal mine operator in his native Germano, Ohio, before retiring in 1947, died yesterday in a Phoenix nursing home.
Mr. Snyder came to Mesa in 1957 and lived in Black Canyon City since 1965. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Annapolis, Ohio, and the United Mine Workers Union.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Grant Stenger of Black Canyon City, and three sisters out of state.
Services will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow in Hansen Mortuary, 8314 N. Seventh St. Burial will be in Black Canyon City Cemetery.
