Prescott Evening Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, January 8, 1925, page 3, column 6 Local Chinese Laid At Rest Funeral services for 'Sam,' one of the first chop house proprietors on Granite street and a man who had been in business here for about thirty years, were held yesterday afternoon, burial being in the Citizens' cemetery. Sam died Tuesday morning. The Chinese Masons were in charge of the funeral, which was held in front of the chop house. A number of local men, who are members of the order, attended the services.
