Local Chinese Laid At Rest

Funeral services for 'Sam,' one of the first chop house proprietors
on Granite street and a man who had been in business here for about
thirty years, were held yesterday afternoon, burial being in the
Citizens' cemetery. Sam died Tuesday morning.

The Chinese Masons were in charge of the funeral, which was held in
front of the chop house. A number of local men, who are members of
the order, attended the services.

Transcriber's note: Mr. Matt is buried at the Citizens Cemetery in
Prescott, Arizona.
