Prescott Weekly Courier, Prescott, Arizona Territory Friday, April 15, 1904, page 4, column 1 (From Saturday's Daily) James Murray, aged about 68 years, dropped dead in a Cortez street resort yesterday afternoon. A coroner's jury investigated the ------ and brought in a verdict of death from natural causes. The deceased was a native of Ireland. He was a laborer and had worked for years on the railroad grades in this territory. One witness testified that he had known him in tombstone in the early days of that camp. He was a single man without any known relatives in this territory. Death is supposed to have resulted from heart clot. |
