Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg, Arizona) Wednesday, February 14, 2018, p. A-5 Hazel Bomgardner Feb. 5, 2018 Hazel thanks you, especially; you know who you are. You made her seventeen-year independent stay at My Father's Retirement Ranch enjoyable with simple pleasures. You tended her medically with attentive personal interest. With compassionate patience, you entered Hazel's golden road, her journey upward, as a caregiver from (no coincidence) Golden Heart Senior Health Care. As her climb steepened, you were there from Hospice of the Valley. You know how Hazel touched your own life and she is grateful for all your kindness--you deeply touched hers. God did this. We are all witnesses to God's grace. Hazel Bomgardner reached the summit of her golden road and walked off into eternity with Jesus and a thankful heart on the afternoon of Feb. 5, just a week shy of 100 years. Here to each of you, I add my thankful gratitude to my mom's. --Leilani |
