Bennett W. White
Sept. 4, 1943 - Feb. 23, 2018

Bennett W. White went home to the Lord on Feb. 23, 2018, after battling major health issues for numerous years. Ben was a fine example of what courage really means.

Ben was born Sept. 4, 1943. He leaves behind Rachelle, the love of his life, after 47 years of marriage. Ben leaves behind daughter Kimberly (Mark) and son Bennett II (Angela); grandchildren Danielle (Luke), Josie and Brayden, as well as one great-grandchild on the way.

Ben served his country both homeland, and overseas as a medic (1962-1970). He was proud that he served. Ben loved his country--a very patriotic man.

Upon leaving the military Ben went to work in a variety of fields that offered encounters with actors, baseball players, inventors and other nefarious characters.

Wickenburg was a place where he found peace and contentment. He cherished the last 14 years of living here.

Ben's philosophy of life was look away from yourself. Honor someone by stopping, looking, listening, and doing. Give an animal a "forever" home (if you can afford it). Notice the town and your neighborhood. Could someone older use a helping hand with a car or in their yard? Could you put out some water in the summer time for the birds? Could you give a child at school a Christmas gift that they might not be expecting? Can you bring some canned goods or bagged fresh fruit or vegetables to St. Vincent de Paul or the CAP office? A little kindness goes a long way.

Family and friends will celebrate Ben's life at the Elk's Lodge on Saturday, March 31 from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Any words or declarations can be mailed to 770 Constellation Rd., Wickenburg, AZ 85390 to be included in the memorial.

The world lost a big man with a loving heart. Arrangements were handled through David's Desert Chapel.
