Luella Garard (Hagaman) Carner

Posted 2009-05-28 by Fountain Hills Times
Luella Garard Carner nee: Hagaman left the many who loved her on Jan. 10, 2009 in Fountain Hills.

Formerly of St. Louis, Mo., she is survived by her daughter Leslie Garard Fluharty, son-in-law James R. Fluharty; step-son Chester Carner; half brothers, Earl, John and Donald Hagaman; and half sister Helen.

She was a dear friend to many in St. Louis from Canard grade school to Southwest High School and then new friends at Fountain View Village in Fountain Hills where she resided since 2004.

She welcomed hundreds of people in St. Louis to their new homes as a leasing manager for 35 years.

Retirement led her to china and crystal sales and again many new friends.

She often said, “I don't cook but love a pretty table.” She is remembered for her laughter and love of life.

Loving mother Nova and father Raymond Israel and husband Chet Carner preceded her in death. A memorial service will be held at Fountain View Village at a later date. Burial will be at Valhalla Cemetery, St. Louis.
